Come celebrate the Birds of Winter as we venture close to Barney Lake for some early morning birding. We’ll hope to spot swans as they fly off into the sunrise, but in order to catch the fly-over we are starting at 6:45 am! Many other birds winter at Barney Lake and bald eagles nest along the shore, so be sure to bring your binoculars for the best view. This event has a limit of 20 people (waitlist available) so please be sure RSVP in advance! We will provide some spotting scopes, as well as some hot beverages for the cold morning. Rubber boots are recommended as we will be crossing a muddy field to get to the lake. If time permits, we will also walk along Nookachamps Creek looking for wildlife.
