Lang’s Horse and Pony Farm Celebrates 50 Years of Family-Owned Excellence

Mount Vernon, WA — June 2025 — Lang’s Horse and Pony Farm, a cherished family-owned business dedicated to providing equine experiences for all ages, is proud to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year. Since opening in 1975, Lang’s has served Skagit County with unwavering dedication, integrity, and a passion for making horseback riding accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Founded by Harry and Dolores Lang, the farm began as a small pony business and has since grown into a beloved local institution. Passed down through generations, Lang’s remains true to the values on which it was founded — community, family, and a deep love for horses.

“This milestone is more than just a celebration of years — it's a celebration of the people who have supported us along the way,” said Lola Lang, daughter of Harry and Dolores and current owner. “We are deeply grateful to our loyal customers, our hardworking team, and our community for allowing us to share our love of horses for five decades.”

To commemorate this special occasion, Lang’s Horse and Pony Farm will host a 50th Anniversary Welcome Event on July 12, 2025 from 3-6 PM, featuring a memory station showcasing old and new photos through the years, a campfire for roasting marshmallows, a candy hunt in the hay, tours of the cabins and tack barn, and visits with the horses, ponies, and draft horses. Guests can also enjoy refreshments at the Camp Diner.

Throughout its 50-year journey, Lang’s has remained committed to bringing horses into people’s lives in meaningful, memorable ways. As it looks to the future, the farm is excited to continue growing while staying true to its roots and its mission of serving the Skagit County community and beyond.
